Yum, yum, yum!Posted by Lisa Kipps-Brown in lunch , dining |
If you're looking for something different for lunch at a reasonable price, try Taste of Asia in Hupps Mill Plaza where they have a number of lunch specials. We ordered the special with 2 rolls and a bowl of miso or hot & sour soup for $6.95; that's a pretty good deal for a healthy, delicious lunch alternative. They also have Chinese and Thai dishes on the lunch specials, including pad thai and curry.
Taste of Asia is the only restaurant in South Boston that offers sushi, so my family and friends appreciate their being in town. Since they offer Japanese, Chinese, and Thai appetizers and entrees, it makes it easy for everyone in a group of diners to find something they like - even if you don't like sushi. Appetizers include choices like crab rangoon, chicken satay, and spring rolls, and meals are offered with either white or fried rice; they also offer both domestic and foreign beer.
