Halifax County Little Theatre has launched it's innovative new fundraising campaign, "Just a Buck" with the help of a new mascot in the form of Hamlet with antlers. With the tough economy, HCLT thought "if we can just get everybody to give us a buck we'll be ok." They called upon local web & digital media design firm Glerin Business Resources to design an innovative mascot for "Just a Buck" and designer Glenn Brown came up with the concept for Hamlet. Those kind enough to donate will get to see a special thanks from our Hamlet. Please visit www.hclt.org to make a donation through PayPal; if you don't have a PayPal account you can choose to pay by credit card on the PayPal checkout page. The Little Theatre thanks you for your support - every buck counts!

Few things in life are free and certainly freedom is not without a price. For that very reason, Andy Crowell and Crowell Motor Company Inc. launched an initiative to give active duty service members complimentary tickets to events around Southern Virginia. “It’s our way of saying “thank you” for the service they provide and the price they pay to protect our country” said Andy Crowell.
Mosey on down & join The Prizery for a good ol' southern porch party! Sunday, July 10, 5-8pm.
