If you use Internet Explorer and get an "Operation Aborted" error...Posted by: Administrator in Site News on Jan 17, 2010 |

If you get an "Operation Aborted" error when opening a website in Internet Explorer, it's due to the way IE incorrectly handles certain code (on this site, IE7 mishandles the code for the Facebook Fanbox); we're trying to find a workaround, but it may load correctly if you click your "Back" button or refresh your page.
You should also upgrade to the latest version of Internet Explorer, due to many security patches, etc.
Or, the best solution of all - you can switch to using Firefox for your browser, which never has these errors and developers love because it doesn't break sites like IE does. You'll actually start to see websites the way that the designers intended them to appear :) To find out more about Firefox, click here.
