If so, you need to attend the Mind 2 Market seminar that will be held Saturday, March 27!  The seminar's goal is to teach ordinary people with big ideas how to take their inventions from the mind to the marketplace.

Local entrepreneur Paul Davis, inventor and creator of Frigemates, will  be featured; Paul will share with you how he took his product from an idea to a nationally marketed product.  Strategies that will be covered include:

• defining the market, then the product
• protecting your idea
• trademarking your name
• understanding the concept of branding
• deciding whether to license or manufacture
• developing a prototype
• identifying distribution channels
• bootstrapping techniques
• raising start-up funding
• developing effective business strategies

The seminar will be held at DCC's Regional Center for Advanced Technology & Training (RCATT) on Saturday, March 27, from 9am to 1pm.  RCATT is located at 121 Slayton Avenue in Danville, off the Rt. 29 bypass or 58 East.

The cost is $75 before March 15 and $99 after March 15, or $45 with a student ID.  The cost includes the seminar, handouts, lunch, a copy of "The Independent Inventor's Handbook," and a Frigemates calendar unit.
