Calling all writers...

If you're interested in blogging about life in Southern Virginia, we're interested in talking to you.  SoVaLife.com was started to provide a place for people to get more information about life in the area, things to do, places to go, etc.  and we'd like to have people from various backgrounds as contributors.

Whether your interests are  in sports, gardening, dining, the arts - pretty much anything! - and you have ideas for short articles you could contribute, just let us know

The site really isn't intended for political issues, complaints, etc., but more as a place to share interesting tidbits about life in Southern Virginia.  Not saying that politics isn't part of life here, but we envision the site as having the type of content that lifestyle-type magazines would; think Southern Living, Virginia Living, etc. with short articles that have a regional spin. We're also interested in helping to promote local businesses, especially those that might have a unique product or an interesting story to tell.

We have a lot of future features planned for the site and hope you'll continue to visit as we expand the offerings; thanks, and enjoy!
